The pedicure chairs run along the stone wall at the back of the room, which is the quietest corner of the salon and, on a grey Toronto afternoon, the best seat in it. There are four pedicure bookings on our menu and one add-on, and the difference between them comes down to two decisions: classic or deluxe, and regular polish or shellac. Once you have made those two calls, the booking picks itself.
The classic pedicure
The Pedicure ($40) is classic foot and nail care finished with regular polish. It is the appointment most people mean when they say they are getting a pedicure: the nails are attended to, the feet are cared for, and you leave with colour on. It is the sensible default if you are visiting regularly rather than occasionally.
The Shellac Pedicure ($50) is the same classic pedicure care completed with glossy, durable gel polish. Because gel polish is cured under a lamp rather than air-dried, it is set before you stand up — which matters more on toes than on hands, since shoes and socks are waiting. Remember that shellac has to be removed at the salon rather than at home; Shellac Removal is $10.
The deluxe pedicure
The Deluxe Pedicure (Regular Polish) is $65 and the Deluxe Shellac Pedicure is $75. Deluxe is an upgraded pedicure experience with additional care beyond the classic service — that is the honest description, and we would rather give you that than invent a list of steps for a webpage. If you want to know precisely what the deluxe includes on the day you are booking, call the salon at (416) 203-8888 and ask; you will get a straight answer from someone standing in the room.
There is also a Deluxe Add On ($25), which upgrades an eligible service to the deluxe experience. It is useful when you have already booked something else and decide, once you are in the chair, that you would rather have the longer version.
Classic is care. Deluxe is care with more time in the chair — and some weeks that is the whole point.
Which to book
- Regular maintenance every few weeks: the classic Pedicure ($40) or Shellac Pedicure ($50).
- You are on your feet all day, or it has been a long winter of boots: the deluxe, and give yourself the extra time.
- A birthday, an anniversary, a gift to yourself or somebody else: the deluxe, in shellac if you want the colour to hold through an occasion.
- Sandals tomorrow and nothing to protect the polish: shellac, because it is cured before you leave.
- Already booked, and you change your mind on the day: Deluxe Add On ($25).
Hands and feet together
If you are coming in anyway, the combo prices are worth a look. Manicure & Pedicure is $60, Shellac Manicure & Regular Pedicure is $75, and Shellac Manicure & Shellac Pedicure is $85. Doing both in one visit is also simply more restful: one appointment, one chair, one hour where nobody can reach you.

One practical note about footwear: if you are booking regular polish, come in something open or bring something open. Polish that air-dries keeps setting after you leave, and a closed shoe is the fastest way to undo the work. With shellac this is not a concern.
